Senior level imaging position works independently to perform complex diagnosis and repair of imaging systems under the guidance of the Diagnostic Imaging Lead and/or the Clinical Engineering Manager. This individual will perform preventative maintenance, repair and calibration of imaging equipment. May oversee, mentor or coach Diagnostic Imaging Service Engineers in the preventive maintenance, repair and calibration of imaging equipment.
Prior computer networking knowledge or experience is preferred. Experience repairing Cath Labs and/or CT, prefer Siemens Cath Lab and/or Siemens CT experience. Ability and willingness to work flexible or changing hours to meet the service needs of the imaging departments. This includes nights and/or weekends. Ability and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for imaging equipment.
Four year degree in an engineering or healthcare technology related field is desired. An Associate’s Degree or Technical School Degree is required.
Four (4) years’ experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Service Engineer, five (5) plus years of Biomedical equipment service experience with increasing knowledge of complexity or similar experience.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.
