Richardson Healthcare, a Division of Richardson Electronics, Ltd. (NASDAQ: RELL), will launch its preferred partnership program, branded P3, and Philips CT service training at RSNA 2017. The 2017 Radiology Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting is being held at McCormick Place, Chicago from November 26-December 1 – Richardson Healthcare booth # 7913.

“Richardson has been serving the health care industry for 70 years, and is very committed to investing in high-value replacement components because we know they are critical to imaging service providers. The P3 program is another example of how we make alternative service a better choice,” says Pat Fitzgerald, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Richardson Healthcare.

”P3 (Preferred Parts Partnership) allows customers to align our quality parts, inventory levels, 24/7 technical support, and service training programs with their business needs. This program enables service providers and hospitals to gain efficiency, control risk, and lower the overall cost of imaging service delivery,” according to a news release.

“There are two ways to partner with us through a P3 agreement: P3 Advantage is an exclusive supplier relationship that offers a single-source, reliable solution for replacement parts and technical support at preferred pricing. P3 Protect is a parts coverage contract that helps customers manage service risk with fixed monthly parts costs,” the release adds.

”Our training courses have expanded from Toshiba CT to include Philips CT. As with our Toshiba courses, the Philips Brilliance CT system is staged at our training facility in Fort Mill, South Carolina to support a two-week, hands-on curriculum. Engineers will learn how to conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot errors, and replace key components in the field,” it continues.

In addition to launching the partnership program and training courses, other show highlights listed in the release include:

  • New RF amplifier service to support our MRI customers;
  • Refurbished CT equipment to meet increasing demand for reliable, pre-owned CT systems;
  • QA3™-tested replacement parts for major brands of CT equipment via the International Medical Equipment and Service (IMES) brand;
  • DR upgrade solution for migrating from analog or computed radiography to digital radiography.
